Thoughts on Trump
Trump will be inaugurated on January 20, 2017. I am interested to see how Trump acts as President of the United States, particularly with how many campaign promises he fulfills. Trump might abandon his platform. Still, I prefer him over Clinton.
During the presidential campaign, people criticized Trump for not having a clear agenda. However, the alacrity with which Trump took briefings; responded to criticism; established a cabinet; and, addressed matters of public importance indicated he already had detailed plans. At least, he spoke truthfully about having detailed plans. Trump may be even more surprising by fulfilling his campaign promises in unexpected ways. For instance, having a cabinet consisting mostly of business executives proved unexpected but correlated with his plan to put in power people outside of the political establishment.
