Last Nite
Went to see Ringworm/Stone Slinger/Desperate Measures/ etc show
very mixed crowd I really havent been up to cleveland since my departure. I was drained beyond words working and having a migraine isnt the best when trying to go to a show.
I must say making of |insert deranged pirate grunts| Pirates Cove kudos biz plan for Peabodys to make |""| pirates cove because before that it seems like they were not getting any biz. Now since they are booking better acts, being a promotional biz, and of course 80's nite (just like chiptole its like cocaine to those children born after 1980's)
Bumped into Pug and his dad was present I wish I had a parent/relative into metal(thats a stretch) its a shame that people dont give mad props to him; he goes to every show he can go to and its a fuckin longer drive than me (2.5 hrs)!!!
Some People need to recognize but they dont because they are self absorb in their own little pathetic selves and the pathetic scenesters around them to acknowledge and observe people who are true to the music not the groups within the music. I guess that's what separate the intellectuals from the drones god I'm soo happy I dont follow a predetermined set of standards. Bumped into lots of people I knew from along the way and people from myspace it was nice seeing and talking to ya.
As for the show stone slinger/red giant/ and other similar bands Ive seen before they even play at sadie renes in canton ohio so nothing new. Desparate Measures was good I told pug while they were playing they are the new old school keeping the traditions alive. He probably didnt hear me because we were having two conversations about the same subject at the same time.
Geez I dont know but my motivation to get "pumped" for shows is dimming rapidly could it be the people/surroundings/scene 95% is mood killing dunno could it be that I'm maturing and need other things in life or to fix my problems so I can actually enjoy shows and music again? I think so.
