Offer: I'll spend one hour teaching you (or your designated gift recipient) the basics of wire-working to make simple earrings, pendants, and linked bracelets or necklaces. At the end of the hour, you'll know how to make bent loops, wrapped loops, and some other basic construction figures, plus how to attach earwires and clasps. You'll have at least one pair of earrings and one pendant to take home with you.
Timing and location: This class can happen either in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, in the NYC area when I'm traveling through there, or in Madison in late May (either at WisCon or during the run of the convention). Other places possible by arrangement; do email to enquire, if you'd like.

Minimum bid: $10
Note: if the bidding goes over $60, I'll teach you and another person of your choosing. If it goes over $100, I'll teach three of you. And if it goes over $150, I'll teach four. (Yeah, it goes up as more people join, because lipreading each additional person increases the work considerably.) Get it up to $500, though, and I will teach as many people as we can sensibly fit into the space we'll be using, whatever that is, and we'll figure out how to deal with lipreading that many people, OK?
Re: supplies -- You will be responsible for your own materials and supplies, such as beads and wire and basic tools, though I do have some beads and charms available for purchase at a discount. I do have a limited number of shareable tools which can be used by prior arrangement. I also have access to sterling silver wire at wholesale prices, so if you'd rather not pay bead store prices for materials, that can be arranged. Many references available on request for this as well as for the classes in general.
