Rob left today. He got here on Saturday and stayed till this morning.
it was a nice visit. We went sledding on Sunday, and my friend Jon got injured. The hill was very very icy. and it had that wonderful bump in the middle that has been there every snowy winter since i was...well for as long as i can remember. when you hit the bump just right you get airborn for almost a second. Jon hit the fence a bit hard at the wrong angle. He's fine, ...the tiniest of fractures I believe. he can't walk on it for a little while...
Rob accidently sled a bit into the branches and got scraped a little
but he's fine.
We went to First Night in Boston. that was fun. met up with Jason Lee and some of his friends. We ran into Adam and Elizabeth Letvin. I got to see the ice sculptures. We ate at Montiena, saw some improv, heard great music and did some swing dancing. After that we went to Jason's place (he lives in a hotel) drank a little and saw the fireworks near the harbor. Then we went up to his apartment and had some drinks and snacks. I had some of the scotch he got for his birthday.
tried champagne at the bar. Didn't like it too much. I don't see what the fuss is about, but then...I prefer red wine to white.
My parents celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on new Years day.
Rob and I went to the aquarium yesterday, saw an Imax movie there, went to the Boston Public Library, and spent some time at the MFA.
oh, and he gave me ninja throwing darts and a celtic style dagger for Chanukah (yay!).
oh, among the things we heard on First Night...was a band called Harry and the Potters. I purchased their CDs on spot because i just enjoyed it so much.
