I've never heard of ITA, but am glad it fell out of fashion - looks a really peculiar way to be taught to read, especially as you then had to go to a conventional alphabet at 7.

It was a regional thing - I think, although only half the schools in our area did it!

Mum and Dad said the same - which is why I left ... and to escape ITA I had to go private.
