A Lazy Weekend

Mar 11, 2024 11:27

After I walked into Exeter and back, Friday evening, I decided to have a lazy weekend rather than meet up with Brenda on Saturday ... and, yes, it was a good thing. I ended up snoozing, and really did very little all day.

Sunday morning, I didn't set my alarm, and ended up missing Church as I was sleeping in late ... so, all in all it was a good healing weekend.

I do sometimes listen to my body, and am trying to get better at that. Yes, I totally enjoyed the trip, and would do it again, but really it was mind-blowing.

Today I am having a computer morning, although have walked down to buy some milk and potatoes ... but this afternoon I have a sports massage appointment, and when I return I aim to do more of my journal.

Anyway, despite being lazy I still managed to get some photos done ....

Saturday the 9th ... as I said I was lazy, but still nice to show off my new necklace that I bought.  This spells Deborah in hieroglyphics -

On Sunday, I did actually spend 10 mins starting the holiday journal (as you can see my lounge is still chaos)

And, as I said, I walked to the shops for milk ... and Spring is still springing

And, just had to share this that my brother sent -

Right, let's get this posted ... and do today's question ...

National Napping Day - do you like to nap? Can you Power Nap?
Oh yes, I can nap ... can sleep anywhere, any time. have always been good at that, but since my chronic fatigue has flared up, it has been easy.
I don't find power-naps helpful, though.

Right, let's get some more photos sorted x
