Yes, it's great that she is doing so well - she is still in contact with one of the ladies who were in hospital with her, but one of the others passed away a few years ago. That really brought it home to her.
THAT'S AMAZING!! SIXTY MILES!!! I cannot stand podcasts. And as far as Bowie's statement goes, I SORT of semi agree with it. I think aging is more about the body though and physical things. Experience and learning to be a better person doesn't strike me as ageing as those things create wisdom. And you don't have to be old or falling apart to have it.
