... and I am keeping busy, so far.
Yesterday Lily had a lovely first birthday ... I walked into Exeter, and got a lift back. here are a few photos of the heroine of the hour -
It was lovely to celebrate with them - their invite thanked people for being there for them, and that the 3 of them had survived the year.
I worked yesterday eafternoon/evening.
This morning I got washing on the line - great weather for that here. warmish, but a great breeze. Then i did a bit of shopping before spending a couple of hours sorting out my back garden. It may be patio, but I do like lots of tubs of plants, so hopefully it will look great in the coming months.
Now I am here, and going to get my ironing done in a moment.
I am going to Nick & Brenda's for Easter Day ... after Mum & Dad died that has been our tradition (well except for lockdown year). One of my nephews is on a 3 month tour of Australia so he won't be there, but hopefully will get to catch up with everyone else. Tim & Claire have gone up for a couple of days, and although invited I decided to decline. Partly as the original plan for Lily was for today, and then decided it would be less stressful as I am the only one of the family who doesn't like football, so I know what this evening will be about. I also still like to go to bed earlier than they do ... so much easier to do a "day return" tomorrow. So, lets get caught up with the questions -
7 - World Health Day: Founded in 1950 by the World Health Organisation. What could you start to do today that will have a positive effect on your health?
Over the last couple of years I have gradually been improving my health anyway.
8 - Zoo Lovers Day: Do you think zoos do an important job in teaching and conservation or do you think it is time to stop keeping animals in captivity?
I love safari parks, and zoos, as I don't plan to go on an actual safari, so it's the only way I will get to see a giraffe up close. I do think conservation and care is a million times better than it was. So am positive about them
9 - Name Yourself Day: Maybe you always felt like your name didn’t reflect who you are, or maybe you just want to try something new. If you could re-invent yourself for one day by choosing a new name, what name would you choose?
I love my name. However both Mum & Dad admitted that they did think of giving me a second middle name, that of Victoria. That would have been good as both my grandmothers had that as one of their middle names, and it turned out I am the only grand-daughter on both sides.
Right, lets get on.
Hope that you are all having a good Easter weekend x
