Weekend ... Again
How can another week have gone?
Had a hair-cut this morning, and did some shopping while in Exeter ... I have 4 birthdays coming up, and the 2 I really wanted to concentrate on were no good. I managed to get some stuff for the other 2, but Nick & Claire are still present-less ... I shall have to text Brenda & Tim to see what I can get them.
Now I have a lazy afternoon planned, as tomorrow I am working in the afternoon ... I don't often work on a Sunday, by my choice, but occasionally I do a shift, and tomorrow is one of those. So, for a "day of rest" tomorrow will be busy ... Church, Sunday lunch, then a 6 hour shift at the hospital.
But, before I head off to put the kettle on -
21 - International Sweatpants Day: Thanks to Covid, many of us have probably lived in sweatpants for the better part of the last couple of years. If this is true for you, has that experience impacted your choice of "work" clothes? Do you now seek out non-sweatpants trousers that mimic sweatpants, e.g. elasticized/drawstring waistbands, stretchier material, etc.? If Covid didn't really impact your clothing choices, do you wear sweatpants?
Never wear sweatpants ... but occasionally (like today) I wear leggings.
22 - Celebration of Life Day: Every now and then, it’s a good idea to take some time off so you can refocus yourself. It’s about stepping back and looking at your life from a different perspective so that you can appreciate everything that you have. How would you celebrate your life? What can you be proud of having achieved?
I suppose it is good to know that whatever job I have done, or am doing now, I can really enjoy it. Not everyone can say that.
