Well I have managed to get a few more icons made ... I am very lucky that the couple of contests I still can enter only want 10 icons at a time, otherwise I would be stuck ( Read more... )

I know, there are no more BtVS icon communities anymore and that's a shame.

At least we still have seasonal spuffy!

You should try your had at a banner, I bet you would be good at it.

I have only tried doing a banner a few times, but unless it is basic I get lost. When I see some of the lovely work out there I don't know where to start.

However I have promised myself that I will (if I ever get the time) learn how to do it.

You take photos, that would be a good start. Find a picture that could be used as a texture. Cut it to banner size add some color and maybe a gradient. Then arrange a Spike and Buffy picture on the banner.

I know this is an over simplification of how to make a banner, but it is a good way to start.

BTW what program do you use? Look around to see if there are any tutorials for that program.
