I ended up asking for an extension, as the tiredness that has yet again kicked in has decreased my concentration powers again. So, thank you
startrek20in20 for that. Sadly there are only a few people who take part, so I try hard to keep going, as it must be hard for the Mod otherwise

Shy was the last one I did, and the hardest to get to grips with ... so glad it worked.

Your Shy icon is a KNOCKOUT, Deb! The haze, the muted color. I love the compositions of the Category set but especially 2, 3 and 5; you incorporate the curves around her beautifully and my eye keeps coming back to the way the light shines off the steel beam behind her and the lady herself is so beautiful and sexy and strong here - the light compilments her. They are very simple and elegant and that's something Iacking in my own work I think.
The contrasts in fire and ice are very strong and simple and I always love it when you incorporate your wit (AC 05)

Shy was actually one that was unsure as to whether it had worked!! The same with Fire & Ice!! I really did like those Cat Textures, and in fact have already used one of them again!
I had done the Kindle thought in the past (points to icon), so thought it would be fun to update it.

I think I'm appreciating that one even more on second viewing right now - there is just such a feeling about it, a softness, the color is lovely (that edwardian ashes of roses tone you're quite good with) and no visible pixilation or oversharpening.
Those textures are lovely, and I reuse the same textures ALL THE TIME. You may have noticed this . *lol* Especially ones from certain of my own photos.
Do you have Kindle btw? I've never had one and am having a hard time imaginging reading off one of those rather than books - the desktop computer is hard enough for me.

I never thought I would like it, but I do. I don't think I would like a tablet, as most of my pc time is icon making and LJ .... but the Kindle as a book is great. I still take actual books with me to read at work ... so, the best of both worlds.
