10 Years Since Chosen
Seeing the image of Buffy around LJ (etc) has made me realise that I am so glad I didn't start reading the comics.
The picture of Buffy facing the future, and of Angel and Spike facing the unknown are iconic images of the show I adore.
I love my fan-fic and read and read, but to me Buffy and Spike (and Angel) are what Joss made them on TV.
The future is open for them, so many ways that they could go, so many possibilities ... yet we know a lot about who they already are. We know their characters and love, or hate, them for it.
Thank you Joss ... thank you fan-fic writers.
(And I must get back to my scribbles as well!)
