Are you going to shop on Boxing Day? Or will you avoid the shops?
This year my days off fell on Christmas Day and the day after. Which for me is good since the day after is pretty rough. It's counted as almost as bad as our Black Friday. Everything is shopped over and what is left is marked down. Many buy more the day after than they did for Christmas.
We had snow on Christmas Day which is very rare for us. It wasn't too bad till nightfall and things became icy. So many people on the road who don't know a thing about how to drive on ice. We have many raised roads where people couldn't get up and over due to the slick surface. Lots of wrecks. One truck carrying the sand mixture used to put on the road, flipped over. Not a good sign.
I'm worried about Tommy coming out today. During the day it won't be too bad, but he leaves late so the road might be bad again.
I have continued my lazy theme - still fighting bugs! However I would never go out to go to Sales on Boxing Day ... although this year the shops were busy. I think a lot of people gave money so that their family could buy more at the sales ... not really the point of a gift to me!
Wow - snow in Texas ... we had rain and more rain - although just before the Queens speach at 3pm Tim, Claire and I managed to take Jiffy out for 10 minutes - so it was nice to have a touch of fresh air.
Hope the rest of you week went well - Happy New Year, Kuda.
