State of the State Fair
Today I ran away from responsibilities and went to the Virginia State Fair. It's always a good time. We had lots of fun loafing about looking at animals and vegetables (couldn't find any minerals) while challenging our tastebuds with deep-fried weirdness. Two thumbs up to the deep-fried virginia ham biscuit I had for lunch, washed down with birch beer, and followed by a chocolate dipped frozen banana rolled in rainbow sprinkles. On the way out there was a farmer's market where we bought onions and asian pears (are you getting a feeling for my random dietary habits?).
