While viewing an 18th Century tax list, the following was written by one of the names in a column used for comments, such "Removed to Kentucky" or "Deceased" etc.

I'd love to come to your meeting. I have a lot of intriguing black sheep rumors in my family, including a murder mystery, a connection to Devil Anse Hatfield (of the McCoy Feud fame), a possible KKK member and a bootlegger. I also have a confirmed pirate ancestor. Good thing misbehavior isn't genetic. :-)

My grandfather was also a bootlegger. I haven't come across any pirates. :) I know my great great grandfather committed suicide, and I've found more than one ancestor that served in the Revolutionary War.

I hope you're doing well gathering your genealogy and finding all your family stories. I really need to start writing up articles or scrap booking info on all my ancestors.
