As I've mentioned this on FB and in a previous Friends-locked post, I thought I ought to say something more public here.
Two weeks ago I was hit with sudden, massive muscle spasms in my back. To the point where I couldn't walk. So off I went by ambulance to the hospital. I was in for five days. X-ray and MRI didn't show anything ugly and the basic diagnosis was a couple of bulgy disks in the lumbar region and severe muscle strain probably caused from the ever popular combo of Old Age and Over Use (we've been doing some home repairs and stuff).
At this point I am still convalescing. I have had one follow up doctor's appointment (at which it was agreed that I don't appear to be getting worse) and I start physical therapy this week.
The net result of this is that all the Wheatland Press stuff that should have been dealt with in August wasn't. Frankly I don't the bandwidth to deal with much more right now, so please try to be patient. Watch this space.
