The Friday Five - Thursday
1. What did you eat on Thursday?
Traditional Thanksgiving dinner (with ham added. I don't know why) Mine was stone cold from the moment it was set in front of me. Reheating it left it tepid. Not the best introduction to the holidays here at my Assisted Living Facility!
2. How many miles (kilometers) did you drive on Thursday?
None
3. How many relatives did you see on Thursday?
None. And I found out this week that my son is leaving the country for two years, :'(
4. What did you wear on Thursday?
Just a hospital gown, like I always wear. It's not like anyone is coming to see me.
5. Are you planning to buy anything in particular on Friday?
No. In the next three weeks I'll figure out what to get my son. I wish I still got presents! But with my parents gone and no husband, that's simply not going to happen.
The holidays are kind of wistful for me now. Have been for some time now.
