Today I have been feeling jauntily piratical because of my Buff. I am resigned to not being a person who slips in lj cut tag thingy things without much consulting of FAQs and so i am relying on your ability to do a Google search if you care to, and if not to be happy with my description of a Buff as a Spanish invention, which can be used as a hairband, balaclava, scrunchie, scarf, wristband, beanie hat etc etc often found in climbing and outdoors shops because they are light and dry quickly, and warm and wick away sweat (eww!). TMI, possibly.
For some time my Health and Safety head has been duffing up my not wanting to look like a plonker head in a corner of the playground, because when cooking for The Public I should be wearing a cheffy sort of head gear, and I was struggling to find a solution. I am so not a chef's toque sort of cook, so I had compromised with an alice band and a J-cloth cap, in which I felt a bit of a tit. So the Buff is a godsend. Hurrah.
