life in general is good right now. more and more every time i realize how much Megan means to me. before i've always thought that the idea of two people being everything to each other was just the politely creative thing you say to someone you like on special occassions. but things are different from the inside. she's proved that most of the negative stereotypes of women in general are not rules. i won't dwell on that here, in consideration of the audience and environment. but if any part of me is to come out here, it'll inevitibly include her.
today i woke up barely breathing. i dismissed it as a sore throat and took the day off from school. the truth is, my throat was not unbearably sore- it was just easier to say that than try to explain the real oddity. somehow an irregular amount of saliva had built up to the point i nearly woke up choking. weird, huh? anyway, it went away. prob the braces or something- they have been drilling into my cheeks lately.
MY SITE HAS FINALLY BEEN UPDATED! wow, i spent my entire free day on it. and for the 1st time, it took motivation to do it. i have no idea why. i love doing HTML. it's one of my most enjoyable hobbies. but this time i had to make myself sit down and work on it. part of that may have been that i knew i had little chance of putting it up anytime soon. i need to find more efficient methods of updating all the pages when i change one thing. this time i had changed so many things (some invisible to viewers) that it was a major project just to adjust the unaltered pages for it. plus i have been scanning in and editing photos for several weeks now. whew. k, 'nough of that now. btw, the CD track listings are incomplete, i'm still working on those. please lemme know if there are any other things i need to look at.
i recieved a much awaited CD today. a very rare one, too. Porcupine Tree: In Absentia. one of my favorite bands- recently discovered. they have 2 major side projects ("No-Man" and "Blackfield"). all 3 bands have a ton of CDs. they're a great group and i encourage you to check em out. they sound a little like Coldplay, but more full of sound. they have mostly mild but steady music- no screaming, and a lotta piano. they have this one song called "Wedding Nails" that broadens the group's style... a lot. it's a super hard instrumental (totally awesome) that contrasts everything else on the CD. i'm still findin more out about them.
