It's very rare I take a side, attack a side, or bother with acknowledging sides at all in politics. But America is speeding in a dangerous direction

I am also leaving this comment on your blog!
#1 I Really appreciate your statements here. I have many friends who are in, have been in, or are going to the Middle East. As well as a brother who is most likely heading there before the end of the year. Through this it becomes a shocking reality of what could happen to them while they are there, but then again, there are more people killed here by fellow Americans who go unpunished, and Americans complain about us fighting in the middle east? If something happened to someone i know in Iraq i know i would not change my view of the war. All things come at a price. Often people refuse to realize, as you said, the people whose lives are lost here such as members of the police force.
#2 and #3 You pretty much said it all here. And I agree
#4 Yes, many of those types of things (such as freedom of speech) have been perverted from the original intentions. Most don’t realize that what we try to use those things for today is not what they were created for.
#5 I agree, as would many, that is it horrible that many child molesters are walking free. It seems as though every day you hear about this more and more. As if that’s the new “IN” crime or something, and something has got to be done. Rapists and Child molesters are some really sick people and shouldn’t be walking around in normal society. As a relatively young female, it gets rather frightening to know that this kind of stuff happens every day for it and the only people who pay for it are the victims.
#6 AHA! See…on the movie the Sphere…I would have shot Harry! Lol! Insanity is not excuse to let someone run around hurting other people, or themselves. If there’s really something mentally wrong with someone then, yes, there is sympathy from me, but they still cannot be let free if they are harmful to others.
Oh and by the way, never stick Seven Ice Breakers Sours in your mouth at one time. That’s some strong stuff right there! Phew
