wow i suck
at updating live journal! so it's been 3 months since the last new girl was hired and quit...we have hired yet another one, she started last week. i'm withholding judgement. apparently i sound 'irritated' at all times while at work, but it's ok 'i just figured that is the way you talk'.........this irritated me. kind of burnt out on the working thing. hiring someone to come in at 4 so i can go home at 5 doesn't make me not rip my hair out from 9-11 while i'm there alone with 3 phones ringing, patients walking in the door needing/demanding things from me, and precerts piling up. duplicate me, please.
homefront news, the word is love. also, diverticulitis....not me, just two different family members have suffered from it in the recent past...mom being the current one. glad i maintain an incredibly high fiber diet to avoid such issues (ask me for my high protein/fiber breakfast muffins recipe..it is the best).
miniblonde #1 is still working, though i keep waiting for her to cave, seeing as they work her like a dog until the early morning hours, then take their time actually paying her. i know she'd make less at mcdonalds, but at least she'd have a schedule. i'm gonna wreck the car on one of my 4 am pickup trips. well, actually, if she'd save her money, she could be driving in february. (not letting her get her permit/license until i see the insurance money is saved). then she could wreck her own car driving home at that time!
miniblonde #2 went on a youth-to-youth group convention last week...from thursday to sunday in rhode island...i'm thinking she had a blast, with all that constant affirmation/hugging stuff that some people like! madness. she's growing up so fast and apparently doesn't suffer from teh fear of being far away from me like #1. she never once asked me to come get her in the middle of the night. yay! was glad when she was back, though. don't tell anyone, but sometimes i have emotions like a real mom, and actually miss my kids. shhhh
this summer has been odd so far....cool/rainy weather for the longest time...finally hot, for the most part....it is the end of july and i'm having my very first bbq with guests today. madness. i've probably only cooked on the grill 3 times this summer, tops. my garden looks great, though, with the easy supply of water. i've perfected the shade garden....should take a picture of my latest addition, my garden gargoyle, who is the cutest scary ever! if i ever get out of this aluminum park, i'm going to want to dig up all my plants and take them with me! discount plants are the best plants ever!1!
