(no subject)
Old dog is doing great. The skin eruptions are completely gone. Over night!!! He walks great. He even runs. He goes up and down the steps. He's still a little fatigued, but who wouldn't be. He lost almost 25% of his body weight. He's also ravenous, which means nothing but good things. He's also tolerating the girl pup.
The day is beautiful. The sun is warm and the breeze is cool. Perfection.
Quakeprediction.com is predicting a big quake before the end of May 16th. We shall see. They had pics of earthquake clouds from yesterday. They were over L.A. I drove to Anaheim for a pre-launch of a business and the sky was gorgeous. Everything was gorgeous. So...again, we shall see.
I've missed LJ. It's nice to come back here and relax with some words....wish more friends were here, but FB and Wordpress and others have pulled them away...I've been guilty as well.
well...off to my daughter's house to see the kiddies. Also planning for my C-bus trip. going to spend most of the summer there. Taking summer off from school to spend it with Mom...should be relaxing...she's on a cake kick now. She likes making up cake recipies. The latest was a white cake, with apricot filling, vanilla frosting and then dribbled chocolate frosting on top of that. Strange but good. We have all sorts of foods planned to cook.
I think I know what she's up to. When her grandmother died, she and her mother sat in her grandmother's house and ate her grandmother's food that she had prepared. I think that's a beautiful final memory for her and she's doing that. She's 90 now and all of her strength goes to cooking. She cooks and freezes. She lives by herself and cooks a LOT. She's adorable. I think she's providing "for the time, if"...sort of scenario.
