Early New Year's resolution
I've made an early New Year's resolution... to be better at reading and commenting on fanfiction that I read on the internet. Over the past year plus, I've been very lax at a responsibility that I took seriously when I became involved in writing and reading fanfiction about eight years ago. I used to religiously respond to all stories that I read, giving feedback to the writers, knowing that was their only way of knowing if their efforts were being read. I know how much I crave feedback myself, so I feel that if I want to receive it, then I must be willing to give it. I think things have calmed down in my RL so that I can devote more time to reading and commenting on those stories that I feel a need to comment about. Maybe I'll even start before New Year's. That would be really special.
