Okay... so the Rob Thomas concert... December 3, Kansas City. I've already planned to go with a friend, but have to wait two weeks to buy the tickets. I, in my stalker-like mentality, have devised a plan to try to get on stage with Rob Thomas... impossible, you say? Ah, only for the common man. I believe everyone who knows me would fully agree I'm anything but common. I have found two addresses that could be Rob's. Only two, which isn't too bad. I can easily write a letter twice and send it to both addressses. Oh, and one of the addresses comes equipped with a phone number.... how about that? It's funny, I'm so much more hyped about Rob than Casting Crowns, which comes up sooner, and a guy I'm interested in is going also.
Now, if I'll actually write the letters, I'm not sure about. If I'll call the one number it came with? Well, that's another story. I could easily call and act as if I have the wrong number. That's what I usually do when I call people like that. Now, if, say, Rob should answer... and I recognize his voice... I'm not sure I could ask for someone else. I'd probably be speechless. Quite like I was when Dann did when I called him. Except he knew I had his number. I had met him, he gave it to me... I had been leaving messages saying hey, and he actually picked up one of the times. I was all prepped for a 30 second greeting, and had to come up with conversation. (By the way, Dann is Dan Smallbone, Rebecca St. James's brother. I knew 9 Dan's at one point, so started calling him Dann, instead.)
Any thoughts on the letter thing? I guess you could comment on the phone call thing, too, but that probably wouldn't influence me much.
