Good news!
Had to take Bailey to the specialist tonight for his check up - and he is extremely happy with Bailey's progress! He can't believe at what a difference the operation has made to him, and is so pleased with the way his eye is healing. And we can leave the plastic collar off as long as we watch him to make sure that Bailey doesn't scratch his eye.
We will probably still put the collar on him to give him the eye drops, as that has to be continued for another week. But Bailey is now starting to feel more confident and is making his way around really well - YAY!
It's amazing just how stressed and upset the poor little bugger must have been with his pain and blindness - he is a rather nervy and stressed dog. Always has been. Not that we have spoiled him or anything.... But now that he is pain free and can see again, he is just so much brighter and happier.
God I am so happy for him! Even if I am just so bloody tired and exhausted..
