I don't understand some people... O(.≥o≤.)O

I'm on Spring Break now, so I'll be catching up on some translations I've been meaning to work on. I'm still going to be working at my job, so I guess it's not completely like I'm on Spring Break. The great thing is I won't be studying for a few days. Yatta♪
Probably tommorrow, I'll be back to reply back to all the lovely comments friends left on my previous entry. (.^___^.)
The reason for the title of my post is the fact that I got my PDA/MP3 stolen last week. I was tutoring and the person stole it from my bag in mere seconds.
What happened was, I was helping out a student when I saw this girl near my bag, I told the person I was helping out that I need to go talk to the person because she seems suspicious. When I approached the suspect and asked what she was doing, she made up some lame excuse about looking at her cellphone. I gave her a weird look and as she left, I noticed my bag was wide open! By the time I turned around to ask her if she looked through my bag, she was gone. The next second I noticed that my PDA/MP3 was gone. So I chased after her, my co-workers were like, "Debbie! You need to call Security! It's to dangerous to go after her." I said, "No! That MP3 player was a graduations present from my sister, I can't let her get away!!"
In the end, I couldn't find her. (.T____T.) Security came and I explained everything to them. At that point, I was shaking because I was so frustrated and said, "I know you guys want to help me, but I know you can't. I can identify the girl but I have no proof that she stole it. It's all just circumstantial evidence."
The next day, my friend pointed out the person to my boss and she talked to her. Of course she denied everything. (.>___<.) Why couldn't she steal my camera? Why did she have to take something so personal and had sentimental value to it?
The theif also stole my Japanese headphones and 3 memory cards with it...
Anywho, my family, friends and co-workers have been really great about trying to cheer me up and I'm really thankful. I might go shopping this week to buy a new one. But it will never replace the one I got from my sister. (.~___~.)

My PDA had some of your home addys and stuff and I'm really sorry. The cops think that whoever stole it just wants the built-in MP3 so they'll probably delete everything in my PDA. I TRULY HOPE SO!! However, you can't really assume how criminals think, so just in case, if you get any mail from me in the near future, please ignore it because it probably is not from me. If I send you a letter or something, I'll be sure to tell you beforehand. I know I sound paranoid and this is really ridiculous that I have to do this and I'm really sorry. GOMEN NE!!
