I'm back to college starting today. Ganbarimasu!! (.^___^.)
NEWS's 7th single is called 『星をめざして』(Hoshi wo Mezase) which means "Reach for the Stars." To my knowledge, the release date hasn't been decided yet, but hopefully soon ne♥ It's also the song for the movie that Tesshi is doing the Japanese voice-over for, "Happy Feet."
I wanted to finish and post this before I became busy with college again, so here is the 3rd Christmas present I was talking about, for Ryo-chan fans♥ I know it's almost a month late for a Christmas present but I hope you all enjoy it. (.^____^.)
This is one of my favorite RyoUchi Episodes♥ They are really dorky-cute. HA HA HA

From:『イッツ！ＮＥＷＳ』 - 『ＮＥＷＳ選抜ｖｓ全日本女子選抜』宿命の（？）対決 (NEWS Selection vs. the Japan's Women Selection: Fateful (?) Showdown)
* NEWS supported Japan's Volleyball Teams with their whole body and soul. The Women's team impressively entered Athen's Olympics! *
* ... However, the Men's team unfortunately, could not crush the tall and thick wall at the World's Final Qualifying Round. *
YamaPi: It's important to go for a challenge with all of one's might, and the experience that they gained this time should definitely lead them to Beijing's Olympics!
* Indeed. No matter how the results ended up, there is not doubt that they impressed people all around Japan. *
YamaPi: The fans gave a lot of support at the tournaments and also in front of their TV. We were really glad that all those feelings were able to reach us as well.
* If Yamashita-kun says stuff like that, don't we all feel that it all our support was worth something? *
* However... *
Ryo-chan: (Yelling) No way! We cannot lose!!
* The public did not know that another "burning red battle" was unfolding behind the scenes at the World's Final Qualifying Round. *
~ Part 2: Nishikido & Uchi declare war against the Japan's Women Team!! ~
Ryo-chan: (Roaring) Take that!
* Nishikido-kun roars as he aims a powerful spike at Ootomo. *
Ootomo: Easy~♪ Here you go!
Uchi-kun: Yikes!!
Ryo-chan: (Yelling) Hey Uchi~ What in the world are you doing!!
Ootomo: Yay~♪
Uchi-kun: But, that was a broad attack. There was no way I could get that.
Ryo-chan: (Still yelling) What part of that was broad!
* The World's Final Qualifying Round for the Men was done at that Sendagaya's Tokyo Gym. The match had finished, and Nishikido-kun and Uchi-kun had just pulled out of cheering...*
Ryo-chan: (Cheerfully) Ootomo-san, want to play?
Ootomo: Again~? You're just going to lose.
Ryo-chan: (Laughing) Hee hee hee... We're different today!
* For some reason, Nishikido-kun and Uchi-kun challenged the Japan's Women Team's two backbone players, Ootomo Ai and Takahashi Miyuki to a volleyball match. *
Ryo-chan: Though we call it volleyball, we don't actually use the ball that is used during the matches, instead we use a balloon.
* Yes, they are playing a volleyball match using the balloons that came falling from the ceiling when NEWS came out as the opening act. However, whether they use a real ball or balloon...*
Ryo-chan: (Sad) We've played twice and both times we've lost.
* This is only to be expected. (Laughs) *
Ryo-chan: Uchi, if you don't properly receive, my "special spike" won't do it's damage.
Uchi-kun: Special spike?
* Will their 3rd time be another defeat!? As an audience of 5,000 watch with anticipation (← No one is watching!), Nishikido-kun whispers in Uchi-kun's ear. *
Uchi-kun: (Nervous) What kind?
Ryo-chan: I guess you can call it a magic ball that makes use of a so-called characteristic of a balloon.
Uchi-kun: A magic ball!?
* Apparently, Nishikido-kun's special spike is a magic ball. (Seriously?) *
* If they play by the book, there is no way of winning against the core players from the Japan's Women Team. So this "magic ball" that Nishikido-kun made at the end of his intensive training full of blood and sweat, should definitely lead them to survival. *
Ryo-chan: Listen, what we're working with is a balloon. So think in terms of what is its number one weakness.
Uchi-kun: A balloon...
* Uchi-kun puts serious thought into Nishikido-kun's question. *
Uchi-kun: I know! A needle.
Ryo-chan: A needle?
Uchi-kun: If you poke it with a needle, it will pop. If we poke it before Ootomo-san and Takahashi-san strike it, then it will disappear before they receive it!
Ryo-chan: I see. That's a good idea... You idiot! If it pops, nothing can be done.
* So true. (Laughs) *
~ Part 3: Magic ball! Nishikido-kun's "special strike" does it's damage!? ~
Ryo-chan: The wind, the wind! The word "wind" is in its name, so it's obviously powerless against the wind.
Note from Debbie: The Japanese word for balloon is 風船 (fuusen) and the first kanji 風 (kaze) actually means wind.
* It indeed is powerless against the wind but the name has nothing to do with it. (Exactly!) *
Ryo-chan: Just listen, let's say that instead of striking the spike, I hit it up into the air with all my might!? Then what would Ootomo-san and Takahashi-san do?
Uchi-kun: (Ponders) What would they do...
Ryo-chan: They would look up and go after the balloon! At that moment, both of their line of vision will break away from us right? We wait for that time and then we use this!
* Nishikido-kun pulls out the fan that he had hidden in the backside of his jersey. *
Ryo-chan: We both will fan the balloon with all our might.
Uchi-kun: Fan it?
Ryo-chan: Then, the balloon will fly away to a place where they wouldn't have imagined. If it goes far away, no matter how powerful they strike the spike, they won't be able to return it so easily.
Uchi-kun: Ryo-chan, you're amazing. A genius!!
* Nishikido-kun gives an audacious smile and declares war against Ootomo and Takahashi. And... *
* They put into play their so-called special weapon or magic ball, though it's just a strategy of fluttering their fans... *
* ... And of course it doesn't work. (Laughs). *
