So... a couple days ago I sat down to my email inbox and found the following message:

"Hi Kristal,
I work on an American TV show and I'm interested in licensing one of your pictures. The "Interior".

The show is "The Starter Wife" on the USA network. It won an Emmy last year, apparently.

I wrote back and asked what the terms are and what the photo would be used for. Got the following response:

...

"We have a scene in our episode that takes place in a castle. We are going to shoot our actors against a green screen and need a picture like yours to composite our actors into. Probably one or two shot lasting a few seconds. ... I have little room in my special effects budget but I think I can pay $200. How does that sound?

I will also be able to send you a DVD of the finished episode."

I'm trying to research appropriate pricing, but not many pricing websites deal with this particular situation. Anyone know if that's fair?
