Christmas in flames!
Last night I was trying to make a simple salmon recipe when our oven went kaput. Flames and some smoke ensued. It was a bit scary even though we turned off the oven immediately and nobody got hurt.
The worst thing about this episode was that our schedule got messed up because the repair guy only came to fix the oven today. So we're only beginning with the Christmas cooking now, and we have guests and stuff. I know, the horror!
Hopefully tomorrow things will be less hectic and I wll finally have the time to read all the new GK fics I've saved, watch Lee in Criminal Minds (many thanks again, Trillingstar!) and watch my new movies. We will see.
So, just in case I don't show up again today I want to wish everybody a great, peaceful Xmas. Have fun!:D
