So I decided that I didn't want to wait until I have seen all the previous episodes of True Blood and watched "Frenzy" last night. Here's my first impressions:
*Eric Northman just gets better and better. Seriously, "scene stealer" doesn't even begin to cover the effect his presence has on the quality of the show. He's just that good, gents. And the motherf*cker flies like a rocket! Go, Eric, go!:D
*Eric was a bit too calm and collected for a guy who had just lost his beloved maker, though. I was hoping that he would mention Godric's death to Pam but, sadly, it didn't happen.
*I'm not feeling Queen Sophie. There's something missing. It was like ERW was saying her lines without thinking about their meaning, you know? *G* But she doesn't bother me that much. Maybe she'll get better?
*A radio played "Frenzy" at some point. Predictable, but I love that song so no complains.*g*
*I don't understand why Eric doesn't just bitch slap Bill every time the tiny vampire disrespects him.
*Speaking of Bill I'm beginning to think he's developing conflicted feelings for the viking. Feelings of the sexual kind.:D I'm joking, the show will never go there. I just find suspicious the way Bill gets all hot and bothered next to Eric. Just saying.
*Has anybody watched Fellini's "Satyricon"? Because those scenes in Bon Temps reminded me at lot of that movie. "Satyricon" has pagan rituals, sex, violence, orgies with lots of food and music and debauchery... And a general weird atmosphere that made me think of Maryann's storyline. There is even a guy with horns (actually a Minotaur) and a pig.*g* I have no idea if the True Blood writers have even seen this movie, I just found interesting that this episode made me remember a movie I saw years and years ago.*g*
That's all I can remember right now.*g*
