I am on the string
Dear Peeps,
My period is painful. Please no comments about how this is a beautiful gift and blah blah blah. I have read the books, gone to the lectures and done a lot of earthy grrl work trying to change my attitude about my monthly cycle. Drumming circles, bleeding into the ground, all that but it does not change the fact that for me it is still a curse. I do not do female stuff well. PMS makes me psychotic and my periods send me to bed clutching my drugs of choice. I am taking extra strength tylenol and drinking alcohol tonight. Yes..... I know that combo causes liver damage but physical pain causes me mental damage so for me it is a pay off.
