Are they being ignored? Everyone I know (iincluding myself) is worried sick about them... I even know a few folks who are going down there to help out.

They are being ignored not so much by you or your individual friends but by FEMA, the military is finally getting down there. Face it, to most people watching this on t.v the images are not real.

Yeah, I've learned not to trust what I see on TV... They've really tried to paint the NOPD as heros, but from my understanding, they're doing just as much to terrorize the survivors as the roving gangs of looters are...
