Work sucks...
Just got tricked into doing a bigger shift at work. The phone call went like this:
Manager: "Hi Debbie"
ME: "Ummm.....Hey"
Manager: "Sorry to wake you up but I was just wondering if instead of doing a 5-8 you could start a bit earlier and finish earlier??"
ME: "Ace, Yeah, I was hoping to get away earlier, I have uni work to carry on with as soon as I get back"
Manager: "Well, its a few extra hours so if you could start at 1 and do a 1-7 that would be brilliant!"
ME: "Eh??? Thats not starting a bit early and leaving a bit early thats a whole different shift!!"
Not impressed, I could have just said no but he was begging. Didn't even realise how many extra hours I had agreed to untill I had properly woken up. Not impressed at all!!
Have no idea how I'm gonna get this uni project done for wednesday, looks like I won't be going out tonight with my flat mates :(
Anyway off I must go to have a shower and get ready for work, BOO!
