Can I pick your brain?

I am eager to explore new and different surfaces to make art on or, at least use as a backing. I've tried the traditional things.......panels, wood, etc. I'm thinking non-traditional. Anyone ever tried anything like this?

How about book covers? I have a bunch of these and they seem like a good surface - except for the ragged edge at one end (where the binding is). I have a bunch I'm going to throw out so if you want to pay for shipping for them, they are yours. I'd stick them in the recycle bin but for some reason they don't accept hardcover books.

I did send the yarn, you should be getting it any day now :) I'll let you know the postage on the book covers soon. I thought it be $7.70 again, but i think they might be lighter than that :)

Hi Deb,

For the book covers:
The postage will be $7.70 in the flat rate priority box.
My paypal address is headtart@queen-of-tarts.com

If you get that to me soon, I'd really appreciate it :)

Thank you,
Amber
