The Tuesday Newsday, Vol. 5

Nov 14, 2006 11:26

Slow news day, but I shall make do!

  • This Saturday Liz was introduced to the glory of Village Thrift.  I got a handful of things, including a snazzy (translation: corny) anti-violence T-shirt with yin-yangs, and a blazer.  Liz continued her collection of purses, which now stands at a total of 649,200,177,593,081,747,692.
  • Sunday marked a month.

  • Work is going well, and I am going to attempt to get back into the swing of things at The River.  It is draining to not be there as much as I was before this busyness set in.  I need to get back to what God wants me doing there.
  • Movies are cheap at Wal-Mart.  I got six of them this weekend.  I've got a problem.
  • I am still on the lam from my ticket in LA.  I need to visit the 'rents to see if I've received another notice so I can pay this thing with my new credit card, which I am also awaiting in the mail.
  • I accidentally got a new credit card; it's the one I mentioned above.  Turns out the company Wachovia used for it's card got bought out by one of their competing banks, so they discontinued it.  They called me to inform me of this, asking if I'd like to sign up for a new card with them.  I agreed and the discussion led me to believe that my balance would transfer, but I was wrong.  They just got me going on another life-draining credit card.  Yarg.
  • 8 days before Southern Invasion, Round 2: Solo Mission.
  • Chris' Jazz Cafe tonight.  FINALLY.  lol
  • Sweet potato fries and Guinness are the best.  I had a lot of both this weekend.  I'll probably...nay, definitely...have both tonight.

  • Third unanimUS album this New Year's Eve.  I'm excited!!

Life is good.

Joshua
