This is the 35mm camera that I would like to purchase when I have the funds to do so. It is a Canon AE-1 program 35mm SLR manual focus camera with 50mm f/1.8 FD lens. Used I can get it for $ 229.00, which I believe to be a good price. Yeah I could take the route and get the Canon Rebel, but where is the fun in letting the machine do all the work for you? And the lens I want to get to go along with my 50mm one is:
It is a Canon zoom wide angle-telephoto 35-70mm f/4 FD manual focus lens, and used I can get it for only $ 120.00 which is awesome. Now all I have to do is acquire the funds to make the purchase. Yes, they are used items, but I will be receiving them through www.bhphoto.com which is a very respectable website.
