NOT DEAD IN A DITCH!
Sorry people, I've been hiding like a hobbit in my dark apartment.
This is because graduate school (and life) have tried (somewhat successfully) to eat my head and face. They didn't get too far though, as the semester is almost over.
So things are a bit weird as I made a couple of mistakes this semester. Some of them are fixable, some of them make me want to kick people in the head.
The only reason I want to kick people is because of dismissive behavior.
I forgot about a meeting, and so my internship for the summer is trying to get away from me.
Also, I skinned about three layers of skin off my middle finger when I tripped up some granite stairs. Furthermore, the bruise on my thigh is the size of my palm, and the color of barfed up jelly beans.
COMPS I testing was just slightly bad enough (even with the monster grade curve) that I have to take it again in the fall semester. So I've got another semester to stress and study and stuff.
Good times.
Fortunately, I have good people supporting me when I make mistakes, and so hopefully things will be okay. And I'm so happy for Dan and Paige.
