It's so effing cold!! Ahhhh!!
Thinking of changing my major. I am so in love with my art history lectures and classes that I'm actually considering a switch. Maybe because I don't particularly like my other classes. The Englightenment class is compulsory for everyone in this department, but it's very dull; the introduction to literature lectures make me want to gouge my eyes out (and the classes are really annoying--I think I've been spoiled by years of Bliss, Curtis, and Burrus); and my creative writing class is somewhat of a waste of time, since we just go through a textbook and do the exercises. I guess my art history course is the only one that fully lives up to my ideas of what college should be. The lectures are exciting and interesting and the class itself is taught by the most wonderful woman. I swear, I learn a bajillion new things each week. I love being able to critically analyze an image in the same way that you might interpret a passage of literature.
