I'm never been one for reminiscing about the prior year. Hell, I can hardly ever remember whether something happened this year or 3 years ago. My mind apparently only thinks in "right now", "some time ago", "coming up soon", and "in the future".
Looking to next year though, I have one resolution: To not let video games rule my life any longer.
All my life, I've jumped from one minor addiction to another, all feeding off the primary addiction that is video games as a whole. The past 1 1/2 years every spare moment has been dedicated to WoW, and it's had a number of effects, most of which not aren't very good and some downright bad.
This needs to change, but I need help! I need reasons to get out of the house, or at least away from the computer. Bowling, skiing, talking, hiking, running, DDR, DnD, clubbing, seances, dancing on mailboxes, whatever it is, I need people to do things with.
I also have big plans to take over dad's house and pay off several large debts by the end of next year, but those are academic matters to be mostly dealt with in spreadsheets. The most important thing is above.
