Something happened to my fonts.
They are all fucked up, and smaller.
WTF?
DAMNIT!
I found the cause: I'd run GNOME's control panel, because I was comparing it to KDE's.
It fucked with the truetype (thing that makes nice pretty Anti-aliased fonts) dpi info somehow, because the fonts were about right for being resized from 133x132 dpi (what the displays are) to 96dpi. Which with 10pt fonts, shrinking them (to like 7pt) is annoying as hell, and some people can't figure how I use 10pt fonts on 17" displays running at 1600x1200... ~7 pt is too small, even for me.
And people wonder why I dislike GNOME. It's braindead things like ignoring what other things (in this case the X server) say the dpi is, with idiotic defaults.
Messed with things again, and it's fixed.
