Just spent ~8 hours playing D&D (2nd edition)
I was the mostly useless wizard. Managed to trap the biggest fighter so that our two samurai-styled fighters (of which only 1 was actually engaging the enemy for a while), didn't get pasted.
Interesting in a party where you've got two arrogant prissy nobles, (who can fight!) one of which doesn't speak the common language.
However, next level, I get fireball. ^_____^
Two very good fighters who seem to like torturing people is a good way to get people to kindly leave people alone. And they've been pretty effective... And rather unhesitant about throtling people for information.
An amusing thing was the druid who was not wanting everyone killed... and he caused the first two deaths.
And the thief who when trying to sneak up to a ship earned the nicknames, puddles and wetfoot. Dex check (18 dex)... and manages to roll a 19.
Oh, and arting angst
I swear the nose and chin are the hardest part of drawing a face.
Any time I seem to draw noses that seem a hell of a lot more 2d than the rest of the face.
The chin is similar, my main problem with it, is choosing how to curve it so it looks right.
Anyone with better art skills have any suggestions?
And of course, one of the cars had to develop a leak in one of the radiator lines. >_<
There's something about sparkling grape juice that's just wonderful. It's like pure goodness in a bottle. Better than any wine I had in Europe. Just GOODNESS in a bottle.
I kinda think the bottle I just finished off had some portion of the sugar replaced (It had been hiding in the fridge for several months at the very least, after being opened.)... or I am really tired.
Off to bed, to wake up to a day of unknown wonders. Or something like that. ^^;
