So, this valentines day I'm making a list of my favorite love songs. No favorite or specific order. Just songs I dig.

I love this song. It's not a happy love song but I've felt this way a lot in some of my relationships.
Amanda Palmer - Astronaut
This song when I first heard it was in my head for MONTHS. I don't know why. I love it. Also not a happy love song. Also top in Dresden Dolls are Perfect Fit, Color Blind, Glass Slipper, The Gardener, and Amanda's cover of I Will Follow You Into The Dark.

Well shit. They have a few songs that I absolutely love. For prosperity's sake, I'm going to go with I've Just Seen A Face. Also, Ringo is my favorite Beatle. THAT'S RIGHT. RINGO.
Bjork - Oh man. This is another one. She has so many great, fantastic love songs. I love Unravel, Cocoon, Hyper-Ballad, Come to Me, Venus as a boy, All Is Full Of Love, I Miss You, Pagan Poetry ( a VERY close second) , and It's Oh So Quiet. But on the the most powerful of her songs, for me, is Hidden Place. It sums up that excited nervous crazy amazing in love feeling really well. I love this crazy bitch.
Bright Eyes - UHG. SO MANY GOOD SONGS. Make A Plan To Love Me, A Perfect Sonnet (god I love that song), The Calender that Hung Itself (SO GOOD. Jealous love!), The Movement of A Hand (ohh, tragic), At The Bottom Of Everything, Bowl of Oranges, but my favorite favorite favorite sweet love song from Bright Eyes is First Day of My Life. Conner, you and I need to have tragic, amazing babies.
Carey Brothers - Ride. This is really the only song of their's I've listened to, but I loves it.
David Bowie - As The World Falls Down
Yep. Labyrinth was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Music starts at three minutes in.
From Autumn To Ashes - Autumn's Monologue & The Fiction We Live. I LOVE. THESE SONGS. Also, Chloroform Perfume and Short Stories With Tragic Endings are good.
Garbage - You Look So Fine. This was also a tie with Milk. Special was also considered. #1 crush was too, but I kinda thought that'd be too funny/creepy.
Jenny Owen Youngs - Fuck Was I
This pretty much sums up things nicely. Reba introduced me to this song. I loves it. Also, my favorite line is "Oh, I'm this awkward and uncomfortable thing. I'm running out of places to hide it." Yep!
My Chemical Romance - Uhhg. Love so much of their stuff. Bury Me In Black, Give 'em Hell Kid, Cemetery Drive, This Is How I Dissapear, Sharpest Lives, I Don't Love You, Early Sunsets Over Monroville (ZOMBIE. LOVESONG. K?), Demolition Lovers, To The End, and Hang 'Em High, but lately I've been obsessing over My Way Home Is Through You.

Recent - Just Breathe. It's perfect. I loves it. It's about love. Amaaaazing.
