I did not know about dad yelling at you guys in the morning about the TV thing or I would have talked to him right then. You did not wake him up, we were awake, I was watching TV and I could hear you and J talking, and I think I heard you talking to Thunder before you turned on the TV. I think that he just was grumpy and wanted to share it and was looking for a reason. He got worse when the floor scrubber broke, and then Katie called after that, (and when she called he did not seem upset.) I already told him that Gram having dinner at 1:30 was a stupid idea that it was too early, and that next year I am not going to have any tight schedules. I just want to sit and enjoy my family and enjoy the day. That is what the day is supposed to be about, simply feeling the joy of being with those that you love, of realizing how very blessed you are to have these people in your life. And to take the time to be truly grateful that these same people love you in return. What a Wonderful thing. Thing come and go, It is the people in our lives that are important, If they are late oh well, there was a reason, maybe by running late we were all saved from being in one of those big accidents that shut down the freeway, there are reasons for everything and we do not have to know what those reasons are. As for being late at Grandma's, I don't care, and I told dad that, for the 27 years before we were on time and dinner waited for somebody else, it was simply our turn. I am sorry that Dad was grumpy at you, I am usually the one he is grumpy at. Just remember he loves you, and I think that he was worried about us not having been able to do christmas like we usually do. He just didn't have faith that I would take care of christmas, I always do, some years are a little leaner then other, but you boys have never really cared and been wonderful in both the good and bad years. If it was not for you, I would not have had much christmas, you did do the decorating inside and out and you took care of the tree (thank you, I will pay you back next paycheck). Please know that you are very well loved your dad and I, your brother and sister, Katie, Alison,the whole family and Katies family too. We know what a good person you are and how blessed we are to have you in our lives. We love you. I hope that that empty feeling goes away soon and can be filled with our love for you.
