I learned a lesson...

I learned a lesson over the weekend. Babies bounce. Kinda like tigger, but not as graceful. I went into the guest room around 8:30ish because I heard some noises that sounded a lot like a certain baby who should have been in her crib. When I got into the room I saw Alison had gotten herself out of her crib and found all the cleaning junk that my Mom keeps hidden in the room (Swiffer wet pads, clorox wipes, air freshener spray, etc...) and pulled them out on the floor to play with/make a mess. When I walked in and saw this I looked at her and said "you should be in bed". She said "No". Then I said "You also should not be playing with the cleaning supplies". She said "yes, mine". So after I corrected her I gave her a small swat on the butt and in the same motion scooped her up by her butt and lightly tossed her the 3 feet so that she would land on the guest bed and be up off the floor so that I could clean the floor. I have tossed her onto the bed tons of times while we were playing/goofing around, she thinks it is fun. Normally she goes towards the bed landing at a slight angle putting her butt down first and feet second; just kinda stopping in the middle of the bed. Not this time. Her butt hit the bed and bounced. She came back off the bed and tumbled to the floor, head first. A little crying and a slightly shaken baby, but no one was hurt bad. I know I should feel bad, but it was kinda funny. I guess next time I will make sure I am closer to the bed before I let go in case she bounces again.
