House warming event
Fairythree, Alison and I just got back from stopping by smarbaby & uterdic's house warming party. We were able to see Ryan & Katie's lovely home as well as meet a few people. I was finally able to meet maxverbosity. I had been wanting to meet him since shorty after getting to know him through his journal. Near as I know a whole mess of people are supposed to show up this afternoon/evening including but not limited to (ex: pookamiss, wednes, katieismyhero, etc... OK, I already know Jason and see him fairly often, but I was having fun dropping names.) Anywho, their house is looking really nice and I like how the decorating is coming along. We didn't stay too long because someone (Alison) was not behaving to well and we didn't want her to spoil the house warming party. I do very much appreciate the patience that Katie and Ryan had with Alison, because I am willing to bet they were not planning on little kids showing up at the party (Ryan, I am so sorry about her spitting the Peanuts from the M&M's out in the basement. I don't think anything got on the floor though). Most people don't, if you don't have kids you don't ever plan on them. It was a nice afternoon and a nice house. I'm glad I went.
