The last couple days have been very interesting.
Monday I decided I wanted to go for a ride on my motorcycle. So I went to the bank, from there I left Waterford and headed for Grandma's in Westland. After a couple hours at Grandma's I left for Belleville to get some lunch and go see Ninja...he was not home. So I made a quick run to Ypsi to go see
fairythree, she was not home either. At that point I figured I had better head home. I did about 120 miles on my bike, the most in one day for me.
Yesterday I did about 6 loads of laundry, did some minor repairs on my motorcycle, replaced the tail lights on
katieismyhero's car, and basically just hung out for most of the day. At some point in the afternoon
samuraibutterfl came by for a visit. After Karen left, I headed out to Canton to go see Kim (she does not have an LJ). She had called earlier in the day and wanted me to see her new apartment. It was a nice apartment, fairly good size with a nice layout. She even has this cool swing in her bedroom (but that is a whole other conversation). We hung out there for about an hour then Jesse came home (Kim's B/F), once he was there we figured we would go out and do something. Kim wanted to go see
fairythree because Kim had not seen her in almost a year. I led the way on my bike as we drove to Katie's house. Once there I traded the bike for Katie and her Neon, then the bunch of went to Denny's in Ann Arbor for dinner. At Denny's we ran into
homerjay,
mogjazz, and two other people of whom I did not know. When I realized who I was seeing I just got up and ran over, then I just bumped and pushed my way into the booth before they even realized it was me. :) I love surprising people. Dinner was nice, I hadn't been out in a while. However, during dinner the sky opened up and it started to pour out of nowhere. I was glad a didn't ride the motorcycle to Denny's. It was still raining after dinner so I just crashed at Katie's house. All in all it was a nice couple of days. I am not thrilled about going to work today but, I knew I would have to return at some point...can't stay on vacation forever.
