“Voice of the Angel”
Ten days, but words cannot explain,
A world of sorrow cut in two,
You say, the wounded can’t escape,
But what are they to do?
This place is hate and spite,
Miasma covers life,
A world where we can’t live,
But you utter with a sigh,
That the broken will not die,
Just be all they can give,
Six days, I swear I can’t explain,
A place of joy in many hues,
You say, the world is meant this way,
But how can that be true?
If this place is what it seems,
Why couldn’t we see,
A home granting comfort here,
But you utter with a breath,
This place is granted in death,
To come and live in care,
Four days, and still I can’t explain,
Here our souls imbrue,
You say, life is like one day,
Yet how does life ensue?
If a day is all it takes,
What do we make,
With just a day to truly be,
But you uttered with a word,
That a day is like a life earned,
If only you could see,
Two days, and maybe now I can claim,
That now I can see the truth,
You say what had come here to say,
Am I here to wait for you?
Can I truly walk all on my own,
Or do I need your hold,
To keep me held upright,
But you utter in your way,
That I will understand someday,
And finally see the light.
got some spiffy news today. i wrote my rant for this year yesterday. it's finished. as in all done. i have to have shane edit it first however, but it's done.a little over three pages of angry goodness. i may add some additional stuff however... i mean, if i'm gonna flip out on stuff, why not go the whole 9 yards right? i guess i can only hope more stuff pisses me off between posting that and and next year so i can do it all over again.
additioanally... geek-stock is coming. i cannot wait. this is gonna be the thing i hope to be doing ten years from now just to carry on the tradition. but hopefully, if everyone can go, 16 people will be attending for the 18 hour geek-a-thon. that's the super happy.
oh well... so i hope to have the rant out soon... sooner than last year at the very least... that wasn't my fault though. i posted that thing late cuz shane took so frigging long editing it. this time should be better.
