[How suspicious.
These packages never came without prompting. This, admittedly, should have been a tip-off, but sensible Susan Sto Helit, for one of the very few times in her life, ignored that nagging sensation at the back of her mind telling her it was a bad idea (wasn't some sort of ridiculous Earth holiday about .... pink and hearts and candy around this time?) and opened it nonetheless. This was at least partially justified in that she felt herself perfectly capable in facing whatever the town threw at her. It had been the attitude with which she'd approached Hogswatch, after all, and she'd come out of that with nothing worse than a soggy carpet and some budding allergies.
So pop went the top of the box, and . . . . . ...........................................................]
