I got offered another job last night. Its at a bridal shop. Though i wouldn't usually be excited about such a prospect this particular designer works under the Airs and Graces label. AIRS AND GRACES!!!.
I love them. I would watch the RAQ every year and back my fave local designer (& friend of the family) Leeanne Dower, but when it came to bridal i was Airs and Graces all the way. Fashion nerd? Hah. I'm calling them tomorrow. Apparantly one of their friends saw me and notes that i looked nice and had my head in the fashion cloud so to speak so she passed my details onto this shop. Hurrah. Im sure none of this is of any interest to anyone but myself but I'm pretty sure their website photos were done by the talented Richard De Chazal. He is very distinct. Any one else would make his concepts look tacky, but he pulls it off with incredible results.
I'm actually thinking of calling him up on the holidays and doing some work experience with him. I can handle a hot glue gun.
I think i will take this job. I can juggle two jobs, full time uni, makeup school, career work and hanging out with friends. Bring it on. The only down side is I won't be able to do my hair to outrageously. I wanted some kind of coloured strips in there. Oh well.
