CAFFINERUSHCAFFINERUSHCAFFINERUSH.

I finally got a full day of sleep yesterday. I say full day because I work at 4 in the morning until 9:15 in the morning at WPTZ, then from either 11am-4pm or 4pm-10pm at the Naked Turtle, but yesterday I didn't have work at the Turtle, so after meeting the WPTZ morning crew at Ponderosa for lunch, I slept from about 2pm until 3 am this morning. It felt wonderful. Then I made the mistake of getting one of those monster energy drinks this morning, so I'm wirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrred.

Days are sorta starting to just melt into one another lately. I'm pretty sure today is thursday... Yep, it's thursday. One more day of morning work this week, which is a nice reprieve. Saturday we've got another show at 56 which I'm excited about. Looking forward to that.

Work has been generally pretty good though. Work at WPTZ is pretty easy, and I've picked it up fairly quickly considering I never worked a day in television before. They crew has made it easier, too, since they seem to have about as laid back an attitude as you could ever expect from a television news crew. I still have some kinks I need to work out, but it's only been a couple weeks. I'll get there.

The Naked Turtle is pretty awesome, too. My cooking abilities have certainly been improved exponentially. I'm pretty much getting paid to cook, and I'm pretty much getting free cooking lessons on top of it. Can't really beat that. The management is pretty relaxed there, too. I still don't know how I was ever able to get the job there, but I'm not really in much of a position to want to question it.

And my finger is healing up pretty nicely. For those who don't know, I sliced it open pretty good while cleaning off a knife at work, and 5 stitches later I was put back together. I get the feeling that I after it's completely healed and I get the stitches out, I'm still going to subconsciously be doing things without the aid of my left index finger. I've gotten pretty used to not having it.

...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAND 2 and a half hours later after, the morning show is over, and goddamn if I don't feel good and energetic.

WOO.
